Error Connecting to Active Fiber - OptiFiber Pro

When OptiFiber Pro is connected to a fiber link which has active signal present, the following error is displayed:

 

 

OTDR and OLTS testing should be performed on dark fiber only (no active signal, no active components in the link under test). 

If you are unsure, it may be prudent to connect an optical power meter to the link and get a reading prior to performing OTDR testing.
